Assignment Length: 6-Month W2 Assignment

The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced, highly customer-focused IT Specialist / Tier 2 End User Services Technician to become the primary onsite IT resource for a growing Tampa technology office.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys owning an environment rather than simply working a ticket queue. You'll serve as the primary face of IT for approximately 50–60 employees onsite daily while remaining connected to a collaborative global End User Services organization.

The ideal candidate combines strong macOS and Windows troubleshooting skills with excellent business judgment, executive presence and the confidence to operate independently.

This is initially a 6-month contract with potential for full-time conversion based on performance, business need and budget. Conversion is not guaranteed.

What You’ll Do

·       Serve as the primary onsite IT technician for the Tampa office.

·       Provide Tier 2 support for hardware, software, authentication, connectivity and endpoint issues.

·       Support an environment consisting of approximately 60–70%+ macOS and 30–40% Windows.

·       Troubleshoot employee access and authentication issues within an Okta/IAM environment.

·       Support Google Workspace and other collaboration/productivity platforms.

·       Navigate endpoint-management platforms such as Jamf and/or Intune and follow established SOPs.

·       Manage incidents and service requests through ITSM platforms such as Jira or ServiceNow.

·       Provide professional technology support to employees, engineers, developers and executives.

·       Support conference rooms and onsite technology needs.

·       Participate in the broader IT support queue and resolve issues for remote/internal employees when local support demands allow.

·       Collaborate with Tier 1, Tier 3/IT Engineering, Modern Desktop Management and other global IT teams.

·       Document issues, resolutions and procedures.

·       Identify opportunities to improve processes and the employee technology experience.

·       Own issues through resolution and escalate appropriately when specialized support is required.

What We’re Looking For

·       2+ years of enterprise End User Services, Desktop Support, Help Desk or IT Support experience, with sufficient experience to independently own onsite support.

·       Strong hands-on macOS support experience — critical.

·       Strong working knowledge of Windows.

·       Experience with IAM/identity platforms, preferably Okta.

·       Experience supporting Google Workspace.

·       Familiarity with Jamf and/or Intune; deep MDM administration is not required.

·       Experience with Jira, ServiceNow or comparable ITSM platforms.

·       Strong hardware, software, network/connectivity and authentication troubleshooting skills.

·       Ability to independently prioritize multiple competing issues.

·       Strong customer-service orientation and communication skills.

·       Professional presence and comfort supporting executives.

·       Self-starter who identifies problems and takes ownership.

·       Collaborative, dependable and improvement-oriented mindset.
