Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will:

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and inform treatment decisions.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting recovery and resilience, ensuring continuity of care.

• Utilize evidence-based practices, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective interventions.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients process their trauma and develop coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members to provide holistic care that encompasses all aspects of the client's wellbeing.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive immediate and appropriate assistance.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and available resources to empower them in their healing journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate reporting and accountability.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance treatment approaches and share insights about trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals affected by trauma, focusing on those diagnosed with conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clients range from children to adults, each presenting unique challenges and experiences that require specialized therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment approaches, and resilience-building techniques.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a supportive relationship with clients.

• The ability to manage high-stress situations with composure and professionalism.

Compensation and Benefits\n
