Project Manager

Job Summary

A growing construction organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Roseville, CA. This role is ideal for a construction management professional with strong commercial design-build experience who can oversee multiple concurrent projects from buyout through turnover.

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing budgets, schedules, subcontractor coordination, project documentation, quality control, and client communication. This position reports to the Director of Construction and plays a key leadership role in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, on budget, and in alignment with plans and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage multiple construction projects from buyout through completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Direct Site Superintendents and coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, clients, building officials, and internal teams.
- Review project documents, budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, RFCs, change orders, billings, and status reports.
- Participate in OAC meetings from pre-construction through project closeout with a focus on constructability and project success.
- Inspect work during construction to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, codes, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with clients, project stakeholders, and construction teams.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $120,000 to $180,000 per year.
- Direct hire opportunity.

- Must be willing and able to conduct site visits at job sites throughout Northern California and Northern Nevada.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage design-build commercial construction projects from buyout to turnover.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractor coordination, quality control, and field team performance.
- Lead project communication, OAC meetings, documentation review, and issue resolution.
- Partner with estimating teams to support accurate bids and successful project planning.

- 5 to 10 years of experience in scheduling, budgeting, supervising field teams, quality control, and production of design-build commercial construction projects.
- Thorough knowledge of building construction, trade sequencing, construction practices, codes, and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with Procore and Bluebeam is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams, vendors, subcontractors, and client relationships.
- Professional, enthusiastic, organized, and proactive communication style.
- Ability to resolve escalated project issues and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience managing multiple concurrent commercial construction projects across regional job sites.
- Strong background in subcontractor buyouts, change order management, billing approvals, and project cost control.
- Prior experience supporting business development and long-term client relationship management.
