Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under supervision, observing and reporting changes in condition to the supervising nurse.
• Monitor vital signs, perform routine assessments, and document findings in the resident’s chart per facility policy.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following physician orders and established protocols; ensure accurate medication administration and documentation.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and maintain patient comfort, safety, and dignity.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team (nurses, therapists, and physicians) to develop and update care plans; communicate changes promptly.
• Maintain clear, complete, and timely documentation; comply with regulatory and facility standards for quality of care and patient safety.

Requirements

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse license to practice in New Mexico.
• Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment preferred.
• Ability to work 3x12-hour day shifts; reliable attendance and timekeeping.
• LOCAL ONLY: Albuquerque area candidates preferred.
• Availability to participate in a 7-week travel-style assignment starting 07/01/2026.
