On-Call: None Extended Hours: Mondays and/or Wednesdays may occasionally extend until 7:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a Family Medicine team with dedicated pediatric support. This is a great opportunity for a patient-focused Medical Assistant who enjoys working in an outpatient clinical environment and providing quality care to both adult and pediatric patients. Key Responsibilities Greet and check in patients and prepare them for appointments. Prepare exam rooms, patients, and equipment for procedures. Take and document vital signs and communicate concerns to providers. Assist providers with examinations and treatments. Answer patient calls, schedule appointments, and coordinate procedures. Register new patients and maintain accurate medical records. Assist with insurance forms, billing, and related documentation. Provide patients with instructions for procedures. Collect and process laboratory specimens. Perform injections and blood draws as appropriate. Operate and maintain clinical equipment. Maintain proper aseptic technique and infection-control procedures. Clean, sterilize, wrap, and autoclave instruments. Maintain clinical supplies and equipment. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program . Current CMA certification through AAMA or qualifying MA credential such as RMA/CCMA. Pediatric experience is required. Previous outpatient/ambulatory or medical office experience strongly preferred. Current AHA BLS certification required. Strong communication, organization, and patient-care skills. Schedule Highlights Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM 40 hours per week Possible extended hours until 7:00 PM on Mondays and/or Wednesdays No regular weekend or on-call requirement Holiday coverage may be required if needed.
