This role involves high-precision TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper piping systems in mechanical rooms, boiler systems, and industrial facilities. 3 code standards, and works well as part of a team in demanding job site environments. Perform high-quality TIG (GTAW) pipe welding 3 code requirements and pass X-ray inspection Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols Prepare pipe and materials for welding, including fit-up and tack welding Operate welding equipment and power tools safely Work closely with pipefitters and field crews Maintain clean and safe job sites 4 to 5 years of industrial pipe welding experience ~ Strong proficiency in TIG (GTAW) welding ~ Solid blueprint and welding symbol interpretation skills ~ High attention to detail and quality ~ Physically able to lift materials and work in industrial environments Experience welding in mechanical rooms or boiler systems Background in pipe fabrication and fitting Weekly pay ~ Health, dental, and vision insurance ~50,000 company-paid life insurance (AD&D) ~ Short-term disability and optional life insurance ~ Flexible Spending Account (FSA) ~ Paid time off and paid holidays ~ Tool and equipment support Full-Time ~ Monday–Friday ~Projects are located along the Wasatch Front (Salt Lake City to Syracuse, UT).
