Billing and Customer Service Clerk (First Shift)

We have Optical Laboratories in Louisville, KY and Fort Lauderdale, FL and manage many optical stores across the US and Puerto Rico. Do you love helping others? PDS Optical is in search of a highly motivated person for the position of Billing and Customer Service Clerk.
The Billing & Customer Service position serves customers by providing product and service information, resolving product and service problems.
The orders start here and are reviewed, priced, and then passed along to data entry for processing.

The shift is Monday through Friday, from 8:00am - 4:30pm. The starting pay is $17/hr.

This is an on-site position in our Fort Lauderdale Optical Lab.
Optical experience a plus but not required.

• Provide customer service to customer account reps or patients, answer phones, follow up with orders, files, tracking patient's orders and status, etc.
• Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data which may include verifying the eligibility of order.
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
