Payroll Supervisor Duties & Responsibilities: Provide Leadership For The Payroll Department as You Supply Daily Training & Oversight For General Payroll Needs Lead All Research & Processing of Complex Payroll, Payroll Tax, & Payroll Accounting Ensuring Accurate & Timely Payroll is Processed Lead Audits, Reviews, Quarterly & Annual Payroll Tax Filings Including (Federal, State, Local, & Unemployment) Resolving All Tax Discrepancies, Including W2 & FICA Issues Respond to All Audit Questions, & Provide Data as Requested Respond Promptly to Payroll Inquiries & Compile Data & Spreadsheets For Management Analyze Payroll Data, Processes, & Procedures Ensuring Compliance With Federal, State & Local Laws Find Areas of Improvement & Implement Solutions For Accuracy & Efficiency Lead & Support Payroll Tax For Quarter & Yearly Reconciliation & Audits Assist With Banking & Payroll Funding Tasks Oversee All Training & Coaching of The Payroll Team Assist With Additional Payroll & Accounting Needs as Requested Payroll Supervisor Requirements & Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Required 7+ Years of Multi-State Payroll Processing Experience Highly Preferred Previous Payroll Leadership Experience Preferred Excellent Multi-State Payroll Knowledge Coupled With Wage, Hour Laws, & Tax Regulations Required Previous Experience With 125 Plans, 401K & Benefits Related to Payroll Solid Automated Payroll Systems & Timekeeping Systems Required Superb Analytical Skills Focused on Reports & Numbers With an Eye For Detail in Finding Errors Must be Proficient With Office Software Including Spreadsheets, Word, Excel, & Accounting Software Excellent Customer Service With The Ability to Manage Multiple Deadlines Simultaneously Must be 18+ Years Old Must be Willing to Submit to a Pre-Employment Background Check Must be Willing to Submit to a Drug Screen Must be Able to Provide Proof of Eligibility to Work in The U.S. #J-18808-Ljbffr PrideStaff Financial
