Commercial Project Manager

Our client is a commercial project manager with a robust portfolio of retail construction projects. This person would report oversee a key segment of their retail and industrial portfolio. This person would run $5M-$7M in tenant improvements annually, and would have a direct line to leadership, ownership of all negotiated projects, and a projected annual bonus between $15K-25K. They also offer WFH flexibility and 100% coverage of health insurance premiums.

Job Description

• Manage construction projects from preconstruction phase through closeout
• Assure all projects are built to drawings and specification
• Assure all materials orders are executed
• Maintaining schedule and meet deadlines
• Managing schedule and costs against budget
• Work alongside and communicate with sub contractors to move projects forward
• Maintain and organize field documents (Drawings, specifications, etc.)
• Participate in company training sessions
• Assure site superintendents maintain clean and safe sites

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Construction field - ideally 7-10 years
• Experience managing commercial remodel, build-out, or tenant improvement projects
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture preferred
• Experience managing self perform trades preferred
• AutoDesk or Procore experience preferred
• Estimating experience preferred
• Proficient in the entire Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Project)
• Proven track record of effectively and efficiently managing projects
• Strong management ability
