Key Responsibilities\n

• Group Therapy Facilitation: As an LPC, you will lead engaging group therapy sessions aimed at fostering connection and understanding among participants, where they can share experiences in a safe space, helping one another develop insights.

• Individual Therapy Sessions: Conduct one-on-one sessions tailored to individual client needs, utilizing established therapeutic methodologies to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while developing personalized coping strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on young adults aged 18 to 30 who face a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and mood disorders. The comprehensive care provided through our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is designed to address the complex issues these clients encounter, allowing them to thrive both personally and professionally.

Qualifications\n

• Education: Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a relevant field such as counseling, psychology, social work, or marriage and family therapy.

• Licensure: An active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license is required to practice in New Jersey.

• Experience: A minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health treatment, specifically with young adults in either inpatient or outpatient settings.

• Collaborative Spirit: An ability to work harmoniously as part of a team dedicated to enacting positive change within the community.

• Therapeutic Proficiency: Proficient in multiple therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing.
