- # Sterilization Operator I - 12HR AMApplyremote type: On-sitelocations: Waukegan, Illinoistime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R2612623**Job Summary**Under direct supervision, operate sterilizer machine and perform sterilization related duties.**Job Description****MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Operate sterilization machine to decontaminate product and/or material.* Review sterilization cycle for successful completion. Identify nonconforming product through post sterilization sampling.* Create sterilization control documentation and standard operating procedures. Complete other paperwork as required.* Operate powered material handling equipment to stage, organize, load and remove material.* Maintain clean, safe and orderly work area.**MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:****Education:*** High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).**Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:*** Ability to speak, read, and write English with proficiency. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
