Mullinax Ford of Olympia is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our fast-paced and growing service department! We sell a high volume of vehicles, which means steady work, a busy shop, and consistent opportunities to earn.

We are seeking a well-rounded technician who is confident working on all makes and models — domestic, import, gas, diesel, and light-duty trucks. Ford experience and certifications are a plus, but we value strong diagnostic ability, work ethic, and a team-first attitude above all else.

• Perform repairs and maintenance efficiently and according to dealership standards
• Diagnose and repair a wide variety of vehicle systems including:
  • Engine
  • Transmission
  • Electrical
  • Steering & Suspension
  • Brakes
  • HVAC / Air Conditioning
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues accurately
• Perform inspections and recommend needed repairs and maintenance
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding repair timelines and additional work needed
• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs to manufacturer specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• 2+ years of automotive technician experience preferred
• Experience working on multiple makes and models required
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
• ASE Certifications preferred
• Ford certification is a plus, but not required
• Ability to operate diagnostic scan tools and modern shop equipment
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and team mentality
• Ability to adapt and learn new technology and repair procedures
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
