Assistant Manager

Volt is immediately hiring a Bilingual Spanish Assistant Manager for a local plant nursery in Santa Barbara, CA!

As an Assistant Manager you will :


Sales & Customer Support

• Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with plant orders
• Supporting customers and ensuring positive customer experience
• Write up customer orders in QuickBooks, including complete job details
• Blue tag and map invoices when required
• Communicate with customers and sales staff via email and text, including sharing photos of orders
• Input new customer accounts into QuickBooks and manage newsletter enrollment
• Expand and maintain the company's social media presence
• Bilingual English/Spanish

Inventory, Quality Control & Field Support

• Ensure plants are pulled correctly and meet quality standards before release
• Monitor availability of stock items and maintain current knowledge of inventory
• Prepare accurate pull lists for field crews
• Coordinate with field foreman to label plants in the field
• Maintain strong working knowledge of plant inventory

Shipping & Order Fulfillment

• Organize and track customer orders
• Check off order fulfillment for accuracy
• Notify customers when orders are ready for pickup or delivery
• Properly organize incoming shipments and stage them to corresponding orders

Hours: M-F 7:00 to 4:30 - (SAT 7 to 12:00 optional for overtime pay)

Pay Rate: $23-25


*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
