Learn more at [ Our OB/GYN practice is hiring a Patient Service Representative (PSR). Location: Bridgewater and Hillsborough, NJ Hours: 9-5PM and 1 alternating night 12-7:30pm on a Monday or Wednesday * Greeting patients and visitors, assisting, and directing them accordingly to the appropriate waiting area. * Paging or phoning appropriate personnel to meet and escort patients to the exam room. * Explaining financial requirements to patients, collecting, and recording copayments as required. * Performing registration functions for new and existing patients and activating patient files. * Promptly and professionally answering and routing calls to appropriate personnel, paging, offering voicemail, or redirecting calls as needed.

• Retrieving and appropriately routing any messages from the answering service.
• Providing additional support to patients and medical staff and performing

other duties as assigned.

• Courteously screening solicitors for relevance to organizational needs.
• Adhering to infection control and safety guidelines as well as maintaining

confidentiality regarding all patients and following confidentiality policies per HIPAA compliance. Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Medical Receptionist/PSR experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills & communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
• Ability to maintain composure and navigate a fast-paced, innovative

environment.

• Team player.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week including some evening hours
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and provide coverage at satellite

location(s), where applicable, as needed.
