Accountant

Corporate Accounting RoleThis Corporate Accounting role within the Accounting Systems and Support team serves as a key liaison between Accounting and Information Systems, supporting critical account-related systems, processes, and data. Responsibilities include maintaining lease accounting software, performing system testing, supporting month-end close activities, and managing accounting master data. This role also helps resolve end-user inquiries through Remedy IT Support ticket software and contributes to data model development by analyzing business needs and providing actionable insights to stakeholders. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in an academic field directly related and essential to this job (Accounting or Finance degree preferred)Experience: 1+ years of relevant accounting or finance experienceTechnical Skills: Working knowledge of SAP and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications preferredSpecial Skills: Certified Public Accountant, eligible to sit for CPA exam, preferred, but not requiredCommunication Skills: Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skillsSupervisory: NoneTravel: NoneRelocation Assistance Eligible: NoWork Shift: 1ST SHIFT (United States of America)Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
