Job Title: Facilities Technician

Job Description

Join our maintenance team as a Facilities Technician, where you will play a vital role in updating and maintaining office spaces and the facility working for the maintenance team. Your responsibilities will include moving desks, chairs, and other items, as well as performing minor painting and touch-up work. Electrical and HVAC tasks are handled by external contractors, so you will focus on smaller tasks like painting, drywall repair, and cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Assist the maintenance team in moving desks, chairs, and other office items.
• Perform minor painting and touch-up tasks in various areas.
• Conduct minor repairs, including drywall repair.
• Sweep, clean, and wipe down surfaces as needed.
• Take direction from the maintenance team and support them in various tasks.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in painting and drywall repair.
• Experience in moving office furniture and items.
• Ability to perform minor repairs and cleaning tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance and preventive maintenance.
• Familiarity with hand power tools and hand tools.

Work Environment

The role is based within a manufacturing company that includes office spaces, requiring assistance across all seven buildings on the property. The work environment is dynamic, with opportunities to engage in varied tasks throughout the facilities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Agawam, MA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
