About the Role
The Company is seeking an experienced Actuary and AVP to take on a pivotal role in pricing, modeling, and advanced analytics for management liability product lines. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading a team of individual contributors, managing the pricing process, and working closely with underwriting business partners to assess and respond to market trends. This is a key position that requires a professional with a strong background in actuarial science, including a minimum of 10 years' experience, and an FCAS designation. Proficiency in SQL and R/Python is essential for this role. The role at the company demands a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills, as the AVP will be responsible for the strategic and technical aspects of pricing and modeling. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the field, be adept at using advanced analytical techniques, and have the ability to effectively manage a team. Collaboration with underwriting partners is a critical part of the job, so strong communication and interpersonal skills are also required.
