By delivering objective, data-driven research, program planning and development, technical assistance, implementation, post-implementation analytics, and evaluations, OSC/Lewin supports current program activities, informs future program investments and supports strategic decision processes that improve the health and well-being of the nation's citizens.The Senior Consultant of Payment Model Operations will manage day to day operational efforts for payment model implementation contracts, including participant onboarding, participant management and communications, help desk operations, and monitoring and compliance activities.Working collaboratively with senior leaders and cross functional teams across the organization, the Senior Consultant will deliver exceptional client service, produce high quality, timely deliverables, and drive innovation across the market.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.Schedule: Monday - Friday, daylight shift in your time zonePrimary Responsibilities:Engage, develop, and sustain client relationships through policy consultation, strategic guidance, and thought leadershipManage end-to-end operational functions for value-based care initiatives, including help desk management, participant onboarding, stakeholder communications, monitoring, and compliance oversight, to ensure efficient implementation and sustained program performanceSupport analyses to monitor performance and continuously improve operational activitiesMentor and develop staff to strengthen technical, analytical, and problem solving capabilitiesEnsure consistently high standards of accuracy, quality control, and attention to detail across all deliverablesCollaborate effectively as a senior member of multidisciplinary project teamsManage stakeholder relationships with clients, partners, and subcontractorsSupport business development and growth activities, including capture and proposal responseYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications:8+ years of experience in a research, consulting, or business environment 6+ years of relevant health policy industry experience in healthcare consulting, program implementation, quality improvement, evaluation, and/or policy expertise4+ years experience with CMS/CMMI Value-based Model Operations/Implementation payment initiatives supporting operational and/or compliance/monitoring activitiesDemonstrated experience in cross contractor coordination, managing subcontractors, and leading cross-functional project teamsExperience supporting business development efforts, including capture strategies and contributing to proposal developmentBroad understanding of federal health policy issues, with ability to work in multiple areas serving as a subject matter expertExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex findings to non-technical audiences*All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.
