Driver - A Shift (M-F 6AM - 2:30PM)

Under the direction of the shift supervisor and/or the shift team leader, the CDL Shuttle Driver will be responsible for operating a semi-tractor trailer vehicle for the loading and delivery of products to/from the plant to the warehouse in a manner consistent with all safety, quality, and operational work instructions.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Safely operating the shuttle vehicle on each trip
• Following all applicable laws and company policy
• Accounting for records involving trailer numbers and position of vehicles
• Interacting with warehouse supervisors and complying with safety requirements
• Communicating with operations and warehouse personnel in a professional manner
• Maneuvering trucks into loading and unloading positions
• Performing minor maintenance on the equipment
• Assisting in maintaining the security of the warehouse and yard

Minimum required qualifications include:

• High school diploma or GED
• Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement
• Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience within the past 4 years
• Clean driving record
• DOT physical requirements and valid medical certificate
• Pass road and backing test during onboarding

Physical demands include:

• Occasionally bending
• Frequently walking and standing
• Constantly sitting
• Ability to lift/carry and push/pull 11-20 pounds
• Reach above shoulder, squat, or kneel

Work environment includes:

• Rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals
• Noise level is usually low to moderate

The expected base pay range for this position is $30.50 $30.50. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
