Key Responsibilities\n

  Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine the symptoms, severity, and frequency of mood disorders in clients, facilitating an accurate diagnosis and treatment path.

  Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each client's unique goals and personal preferences, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

  Provide ongoing education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

  Regularly monitor client progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other health professionals, to provide holistic care that addresses all aspects of a client’s mental health.

  Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on patients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will work with a diverse client base, providing culturally competent therapy that respects and integrates the unique experiences and backgrounds of each individual. Clients may range from adolescents to adults, requiring a versatile approach tailored to varying developmental stages and emotional needs.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
