Site Supervisor - Snohomish & Kirkland

Job Summary The Site Supervisor is responsible for the daily oversight and support of Supported Living Services within designated programs assigned to them. This role ensures that the individual supported are provided with safe, high‑quality, and person‑centered care in their residential settings. The Site Supervisor’s primary duties include supervising Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), maintaining regulatory compliance, training staff, managing labor hours, and ensuring that client needs and preferences are continuously met. They also oversee program operations and services in accordance with state, federal, local regulations, standards of service, and overall quality of service for people served. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee day‑to‑day operations of assigned residential programs, supervising employees to ensure smooth, consistent client support per individual plans. Supervise, train, coach, and mentor Direct Support Professionals to maintain high performance and best practices. Conduct staff counseling, corrective actions, work improvement plans, and follow‑ups. Model positive behavior, support staff development, and maintain a supportive workplace culture. Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing of all clients through monitoring services, environments, and staff compliance with agency procedures. Develop and maintain staffing schedules, ensuring adequate coverage within budgeted labor hours and client needs. Prepare and post schedules on time, maintain scheduling blocks, and monitor labor hours to stay within budgetary guidelines. Report service‑site injuries, assist with claims, and maintain a safe work environment. Participate in development and implementation of Individual Instruction and Support Plans (IISPs) and review them periodically. Advance client rights, support staff in choice issues, and ensure quality of life enhancements. Follow policies on medical waste disposal, and maintain compliance with SAILS Washington policies, DDCS requirements, and Washington State regulations. Conduct regular QA checks, client check‑ins, and provide timely, appropriate feedback. Communicate with families, conservators, case managers, and outside agency representatives as appropriate. Report incidents, complete follow‑up documentation, and implement corrective actions. Ensure staff maintain organized, up‑to‑date documentation, including client files, training logs, and compliance audits. Support onboarding of new DSPs and ongoing professional development. Provide direct care when required by the program schedule. Respond to emergencies and participate in on‑call rotation. Report suspected abuse promptly and submit mandated reports. Maintain confidentiality of client information and complete required consent and HIPAA documents. Assist with investigations involving persons served and employees. Ensure clients have necessary personal care items, clothing, recreational equipment, and access to preferred activities. Coordinate transportation for medical appointments, therapies, work, school, activities, and emergencies. Attend scheduled meetings, inspections, and unannounced agency visits. Oversee staff training and orientation, ensuring completion of required certifications (e.g., CPR, First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens). Manage client funds responsibly and review receipts weekly. Maintain safety from fire, flood, and other hazards. Assess program effectiveness, update behavioral and skill goals, and maintain security alarms. Perform progressive discipline with support from assistant area director and area director. Conduct performance reviews and report, as required, to residential area and assistant area directors. Handle home repair, moving logistics, and ensure timely completion. Submit required reports and binders (Weekly Administrator Report, Daily Dayforce Checking, Medication Checks, Client Binders, etc.). Other duties as assigned. Provide individual client behavioral and physical support through observation, reports, and consultation with staff. Required Education and Experience High School Diploma 2 years of experience working with clients with disabilities 3 years of supervisory experience Licensing Requirements Must pass a Washington State background check First Aid/CPR Certified (within 120 days of employment; training can be provided) Blood Borne Pathogens Certification (within 120 days of employment; training can be provided) Obtain CPI Blue Card Ongoing Eligibility Qualifications Complete and pass background check screening upon hire and every two years thereafter or as requested. Maintain active NAR, CPR/First Aid, Nurse Delegation, and other required certifications. Complete at least 12 hours of continuing education annually. Complete all required and assigned training.
