What You’ll Do:

• Provide comprehensive OB care including routine vaginal deliveries, low-forceps deliveries, and decision-making for cesarean sections
• Manage complicated deliveries such as breech, multiple births, and labor interruptions
• Perform repairs of 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations
• Collaborate with midwives during call shifts and support onsite neonatal care
• Document all patient interactions using EPIC EMR system
• Participate in inpatient labor and delivery unit providing high-quality patient care with an average of 1–6 patients daily

What You Need:
Required:

• Valid Kentucky medical license or eligibility
• Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN
• Proven experience with labor, delivery, and surgical procedures
• Competence in EPIC EMR documentation

Preferred:

• Experience working in hospital-based OB units
• Ability to manage diverse obstetric cases including emergency procedures

About the Assignment:
Join a busy maternity department with approximately 700-800 deliveries annually, including routine and complex cases. The facility offers onsite labs, ultrasound, and nursery Level II care. Midwives will manage their own call and deliveries, ensuring a collaborative environment focused on optimal patient outcomes. The hospital is fully equipped and committed to providing exceptional obstetric services to the adult patient population.
