Role Description The Licensed Therapist will provide direct clinical services to clients, including intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing individual, family, or group counseling. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing treatment plans, maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, coordinating care with other providers, and participating in case consultations as needed. The therapist will utilize evidence-based modalities, conduct risk assessments, and respond appropriately to crisis situations while upholding confidentiality and ethical standards. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Fayetteville, NC, requiring regular presence in the office to see clients, collaborate with the team, and participate in meetings and trainings. Qualifications Active licensure in North Carolina as an LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent behavioral health license (provisional or full); eligibility to practice independently or under approved supervision. Demonstrated experience providing individual and family counseling, including intake assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing therapy for diverse populations. Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, solution-focused therapy) and ability to tailor interventions to client needs. Strong clinical documentation skills, including timely progress notes, treatment plans, and compliance with agency, state, and payer requirements. Ability to conduct risk assessments, manage crisis situations, and coordinate care with medical providers, community resources, and support systems. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, maintain professional boundaries, and work collaboratively in a team setting. Commitment to ethical practice, cultural humility, and confidentiality, with sensitivity to the needs of clients from varied backgrounds and identities. Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. Comfort working in an on-site, full-time clinical environment in Fayetteville, NC, with reliability, professional appearance, and strong time-management skills.
