Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in grades K-5 as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist. This position starts August 31, 2026, and runs through June 11, 2027, offering you the chance to make a significant difference during the full academic year. You'll work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, putting in 37.5 hours each week in a dynamic school environment near Detroit, MI.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and current SLP certification required
- SLP-CCC credentials (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- Experience with elementary students (K-5) is highly desirable
- Ability to manage and organize a diverse student caseload
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide speech and language therapy for K-5 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and school teams to support student growth
- Maintain precise records and progress reports on student outcomes
- Adapt therapy approaches to suit individual needs and learning styles
