This position leads application architecture and integration, development, and deployment initiatives. This role is a hybrid between an individual contributor, leading implementation by example, and the administrative oversight of 10-20 engineers – this position works collaboratively with project management teams for requirements prioritization and reporting. Location: Greater Baltimore Area Telework Status: No Telework Expected Clearance Level Required: Secret Required Skills/Credentials: Must be a US CitizenMust hold a US government security clearance at the Secret level or HigherBachelors degree in one of the following: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Math, or Physics Minimum five years of post-graduate professional experience Minimum of one year of experience in the last three years leading and supervising teams Minimum of one years' experience in the last three years leading and supervising teams running a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline utilizing modern approaches including containerization, micro-segmentation, and Infrastructure as Code Certification compliant with DoD 8570 IAT II (e.g., Security+) Experience architecting and managing deployments into Amazon Web Services and Azure Experience architecting and managing deployments in on-premises and hybrid-cloud environments Desirable Skills/Credentials: Proficiency with Microsoft Office products for efficient communication, reporting, and presentation Proficiency with architecture documentation tools such as Cameo, Visio, and Draw.io Experience with microservice architecture deployments Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes Certifications in Amazon Web Services and Azure, DevOps or architecture focused preferred Certification compliant with DoD 8570 IAT III (e.g., CISSP) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Benefits:Mission focused work environmentSubsidized medical/dental/vision insuranceHSA contributions401k matchingHoliday and Paid Time Off (PTO)Monthly WAN parties & quarterly eventsFlexible hoursRemote work is not an option.
