Research Analyst

We are seeking a Sr. Research Data Analyst who will build complex data models and conduct complex data analysis in support of research projects, programs, and/or studies. The Sr. Research Data Analyst is responsible for coordination of data and data analysis activities across multiple studies. Specific Duties & Responsibilities Develop, manage, and maintain a database for study data for multiple studies. Develop standard operating procedures for initial data entry and data updates. Oversee quality control procedures for database and ongoing analysis. Develop data models. Conduct statistical analyses of data collected in this system to support empirical study. Build transmission models. Create and curate software tools across diverse programming languages in support of research efforts. Other duties as assigned. In addition to the duties described above Wrangle and analyze Electronic Health Record data other real world data including health insurance claims. Use SQL, R and/or Python for statistical analysis. Apply best practices for real-world evidence principles, including bias, confounding, and study design considerations. Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree in a related field. One year of related experience. Highly specialized advanced knowledge, education and/or training in a specialized field of study to conduct research. Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula. Preferred Qualifications PhD in a related field. Strong proficiency in coding and data wrangling with SQL, R and/or Python for statistical analysis. Experience with econometrics techniques. Experience with health cost related data sets.
