Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, identifying their individual needs.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique goals and therapeutic preferences, including goal-setting and progress tracking.

• Implement evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting techniques to suit individual client circumstances.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices to promote empowerment and understanding.

• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure continued alignment with therapeutic goals and client needs.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring a holistic approach to client treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will primarily support individuals dealing with a range of mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. The client population may include vulnerable groups such as individuals experiencing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your work will play a crucial role in helping these clients navigate their challenges, offering them hope and tools for recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active California state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
