This creative atmosphere helps us apply and share our skills with our clients, who seek quality, high-end AV and Conference Solutions.So, where do you fit in?We are looking for an Accounting Specialist in our St Louis office located in Maryland Heights, MO, whose attitude, skills, and work ethic will embody our mission “to provide a fantastic customer experience.” We are not looking for a ‘typical accountant’—our accounting team knows that our customers are our #1 priority, and we want somebody who can recognize that and build relationships with them, and our vendors. We are also looking for someone who will collaborate with our operations team to take care of our customers. We take pride in our employees, who are known in the industry as customer-focused problem-solvers who can get the job done.These responsibilities will give you an idea, but not a full picture of what you will do as an accounting specialist, as we work to embrace and capitalize on our employees’ strengths:Invoicing: progressive billing, job deposit/completion billing, and product billing.Enter and maintain job costs, cost codes, and change orders.Record weekly revenue recognition based on the percentage of completion method.Perform month-end reconciliations.Prepare closing journal entries.Attend weekly production meetings with branch locations.Communicate with internal and external customers.Perform other duties, as needed.We value our culture above all, and applicants who merely want to punch in their time cards every day are not what we are looking for.
