Position Overview:
- You will be providing DocGo services in Greater Los Angeles by monitoring and providing directed treatment common to complex injuries and illnesses.
- Each day, you will drive to patients' homes to provide patient care.
- While at a patient's home, engage in guided assessments and provide treatment under the supervision of an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for patients facing barriers to accessing the traditional healthcare system
- Throughout the treatment process, maintain patient medical records and documentation consistent with state regulations, DocGo standards, and policy through our EMR system
- You will be practicing under direction with synchronous telemedicine support
- Act as a conduit for the medical treatment of the Health Plan Partnerships patient population
- Navigate conversations related to management of health, well-being, medication management, and goals of care
- Provide supervised, directed treatment of common medical diagnoses
- Participate in continuing education as required by the state where you reside and the DocGo training team
- Adhere to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics
- Provide care with cultural sensitivity and compassion
- Lead your practice with a patient-centered approach
- Other related duties as deemed necessary
- Must have one of the following certifications: MA, CMA, CCMA, or RMA. (Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or Registered Medical Assistant).
- Valid Driver's License in state of residency with 2+ years of driving experience, and an acceptable driving record
- Must have minimum 2 years of recent in-person experience as a MA, CMA, CCMA, or RMA in an Urgent Care, Primary Care, or related setting
- Phlebotomy experience
- Active and current American Heart Association BLS
- Ability to lift & carry 30-40lbs in a backpack style equipment bag
- Clinical work experience with pediatrics, preferred
- Fluent bilingual English/Spanish,preferred
