This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

Join an established team of 13 pediatric hospitalists

Call structure: Subject to change, to be discussed during the interview process

Practice setting: Inpatient

Access to a comprehensive array of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialties, a dedicated pediatric burn center, and advanced clinical infrastructure for procedural sedation and ground transport medical control

Employed position within a nonprofit health system

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics

Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration

Provide high-quality inpatient medical care to pediatric patients with diverse and complex diagnoses, managing medical treatments, procedural sedations, and co-management protocols alongside surgical and medical subspecialists.

Serve as the medical control authority for the Pediatric Ground Transport team while playing an active, major role in medical education by instructing and supervising pediatric residents and medical students.

197-bed pediatric facility (including 40 private inpatient beds, 8 short-stay beds, 14 PICU beds, 8 Pediatric CVICU beds, 18 Pediatric ED beds, and a 109-bed Level IV NICU)

Level I Children's Surgery Verified and Level I Pediatric Trauma Center

Serving a population of approximately 2 million in the greater Indianapolis metropolitan area

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
