Head of Commercial

JCW is representing a specialty P&C carrier in search of a senior commercial insurance leader to lead and grow its Small Commercial business. This is a high-impact executive opportunity for someone who combines strong underwriting expertise with a strategic business mindset and is excited by the opportunity to shape the future of a growing commercial platform. The role offers broad visibility across the organization and the ability to influence underwriting, product, portfolio strategy, and long-term business growth. This position is based onsite five days per week. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership for the Small Commercial business with an emphasis on profitable, sustainable growth Evaluate portfolio performance and implement initiatives that improve underwriting results and overall business performance Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to identify new market opportunities and strengthen distribution partnerships Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing commercial underwriting organization while driving operational improvements Qualifications Extensive leadership experience within Small Commercial Property & Casualty insurance Strong working knowledge of Businessowners, Commercial Package, and related commercial products; Commercial Auto and/or Workers' Compensation experience is a plus Demonstrated ability to lead underwriting teams while balancing growth, profitability, and portfolio quality Proven history of developing new products, expanding a business, or leading transformational initiatives within a carrier or MGA environment If interested, please apply directly or email View email address on click.appcast.io a copy of your resume. #J-18808-Ljbffr JCW Group
