Assistant Project ManagerOur client is a growing commercial and institutional construction firm based in South Florida. As they continue to expand, they're looking for an organized, accountable, and proactive Assistant Project Manager to join their team.Position SummaryThe Assistant Project Manager will support the project management team on commercial and institutional construction projects, ideally in the $1M to $5M range. Some prior construction/project management experience is required, but our client is open to a candidate who is still developing professionally, as long as they have a solid construction background and the potential to grow within the company.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Project Manager in daily administration of commercial and institutional construction projects.Assist with subcontractor coordination, RFIs, submittals, and change order tracking.Help maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation.Attend project meetings and assist with meeting minutes and follow-up items.Support procurement and materials tracking.Assist with closeout documentation and punch list coordination.Grow into increasing project management responsibility over time.QualificationsSome prior construction or project management experience required, preferably on commercial or institutional projects in the $1M to $5M range.Open to candidates who are still developing professionally, provided they have a solid construction background and strong growth potential.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore) a plus.Organized, accountable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced commercial construction environment.What We OfferCompetitive salary and construction industry benefits package.Performance-based bonus program.Collaborative, growth-oriented work environment.Opportunities for career advancement within a rapidly expanding firm.We believe that great projects start with great people.
