Medical Writer for AI Training

Apply your medical expertise by contributing original, high-quality documentation that helps train next-generation AI systems. This remote contractor opportunity centers on the depth, clarity, and responsible handling of real-world medical materials. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide original medical documents you personally authored, such as case reports, clinical documentation, research manuscripts, or internal training guides, in PDF or Word format.
• Submit materials that demonstrate authentic medical writing expertise and include multimodal elements such as text, tables, charts, diagrams, figures, or other illustrations.
• Use professional judgment to protect confidentiality and rigorously remove sensitive or personally identifiable information.
• Curate documents of varying lengths, ideally 10 to 100 pages per file, to support different training scenarios.
• Provide clear written context or clarification about shared materials when needed.
• Contribute remotely to work that improves how AI systems learn, reason, and perform.

Qualifications

• Advanced training or credentials in medicine, healthcare, clinical research, or a related discipline, such as MD, DO, PhD, or RN.
• Extensive experience creating, authoring, or compiling high-quality medical documentation and technical reports.
• Strong medical writing and documentation skills, with substantial medical subject-matter knowledge.
• Sound judgment regarding patient confidentiality, ethical documentation, and data de-identification.
• Ability to explain complex medical information clearly in writing and verbally.
• Experience integrating visuals, figures, and structured data into documentation.
• Comfort submitting a range of original documents from your professional portfolio.
• Experience as a medical practitioner, researcher, academic, or clinical documentation specialist is a plus.

Work Terms

• Remote independent contractor engagement.

Compensation

• $20 to $40 per hour.
