- Role: Yacht Closing Manager
- Details: Oversee high-value yacht transactions from initial contract execution straight through to final delivery and documentation.
- Typical Responsibilities
- End-to-End Management: Taking a vessel purchase and sale agreement from an executed contract through to funding, title transfer, and delivery.
- Escrow Administration: Handling deposits, disbursements, and account reconciliation under Florida yacht and ship broker trust account rules.
- Documentation & Lien Searches: Ordering abstracts of title, checking for maritime liens, and filing paperwork with the USCG National Vessel Documentation Center.
- Contingency Tracking: Monitoring survey windows, sea trials, financing stipulations, and insurance requirements.
- Qualifications Needed
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in closing, title, escrow, or transaction coordination. Will accept candidates with strong real estate or general title/escrow closing backgrounds and train them on vessel-specific rules.
- Key Skills: High attention to detail, proficiency with document management tools, and strong communication skills to coordinate with marine lenders, surveyors, and documentation attorneys.
