Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for Neuro Med-Surg RN!

Job Description:


- Join a dynamic Neuro Unit as a Med-Surg Neuro RN!
- Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15).
- Engage with a variety of neuro surgical procedures and diagnoses.
- Work in a supportive environment with a patient ratio of 1:5-6.


Requirements:


- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a related field preferred.
- Certifications:
- BLS required.
- ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in management of dysrhythmias, wound care, and IV protocols.
- Experience with telemetry and post-operative neurosurgery preferred.
- Travelers: First-time travelers are welcome!

Contract Details:


- Contracts available for 13-26 weeks, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week.
- Float requirement is part of the role.
- Weekend shifts: 12-16 per contract.

Unit and Patient Care:


- Daily Census: Approximately 36 patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary support: IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Rapid Response Teams, and more!

Additional Information:


- Must pass EKG testing prior to start.
- Wear Navy scrubs during your shifts.
- Orientation includes 2 shifts on the unit after hospital-based orientation.


Important Notes:


- Up to 7 days of RTO auto-approved (no holidays).
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO during the first week.
- Open to floating within/near the facility as per job description.
