Work Environment

Located in sunny Cape Coral, Florida, our onsite rehabilitation facility fosters a warm and welcoming environment that encourages healing and recovery. You will work with a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation aides to create a supportive network for our patients. The work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients' physical conditions, reviewing pertinent medical histories, and identifying specific treatment needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations, incorporating evidence-based practices to meet the unique needs of each patient.

• Implement appropriate therapeutic interventions, utilizing various modalities such as manual therapy, exercise programs, and patient education to foster recovery.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, including initial evaluations, ongoing progress summaries, and discharge notes to ensure continuity of care.

• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to recognize changes in patients' conditions and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

• Lead discharge planning efforts to ensure patients have comprehensive follow-up care and understand at-home recovery techniques.

• Participate actively in team meetings and facility training sessions to stay informed about best practices and regulatory compliance.

• Uphold open, respectful communication with patients, families, co-workers, and insurance providers to foster trust and facilitate care coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients requiring rehabilitation after surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. You will be instrumental in helping individuals regain mobility, strength, and independence, ensuring they receive customized care tailored to their specific conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.

• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
