Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized evaluations and create individualized treatment plans that address patients' unique rehabilitation needs and goals.
• Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring each patient receives focused and compassionate care through comprehensive sessions.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and modalities to improve mobility and function in orthopedic patients.
• Implement evidence-based interventions that emphasize non-surgical treatment options, reducing reliance on medications.
• Design and execute tailored fitness and wellness programs aimed at enhancing patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Continuously assess patient progress, adapting treatment plans based on outcomes and feedback.
• Document all services and interventions accurately using our electronic medical records (EMR) system (Web PT), maintaining rigorous attention to detail.
• Actively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support and motivate patients throughout their treatment, fostering a positive environment that encourages recovery and self-efficacy.
• Engage in professional development opportunities to remain up-to-date with the latest physical therapy research and techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve orthopedic patients, including those recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Our patient population ranges from active athletes to older adults who require assistance in regaining their mobility and independence. Your ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds will be essential in providing empathetic, effective care.

Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in Florida with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong proficiency in a spectrum of manual therapy techniques, with a tangible history of utilizing these skills effectively.
• Excellent capability in designing and implementing successful exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficient in using EMR software, particularly Web PT, to maintain precise and comprehensive patient records.
• Commitment to staying current with ongoing research and developments in physical therapy practices.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy within an outpatient setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to implement multimodal treatment plans that enhance patient recovery outcomes.
• Experience working in a high-volume clinic and managing a diverse patient population is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 100,000–120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
