Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our modern Rehabilitation Center, where the therapeutic environment is designed to facilitate recovery and enhance patient comfort. As part of our collaborative team, you will work alongside other healthcare professionals, including Physical Therapy Assistants, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation nurses, to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific physical therapy needs and functional capabilities.
• Provide direct patient care through administering therapeutic exercises, traction, and manual treatment techniques while instructing patients in various activities to promote overall wellness.
• Oversee and support Physical Therapy Assistants in executing treatment protocols while ensuring proper techniques are utilized.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients using diagnostic assessments to establish baseline functionality and develop targeted interventions.
• Monitor patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans based on observed improvements or setbacks, and documenting all clinical findings accurately in clinical records.
• Consult with the interdisciplinary team to share insights and collaborate on comprehensive care strategies that support optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on home care strategies and the use of rehabilitation equipment to enhance recovery efforts.
• Participate actively in case conferences and contribute to the periodic review and revision of treatment plans in accordance with best practices.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of federal and state regulations governing physical therapy practices.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by providing mentorship and training to new staff, while fostering a culture of collaboration and quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgeries, elderly patients with mobility challenges, and those suffering from chronic pain or disabilities. As a Physical Therapist, your efforts will have a direct impact on enhancing the quality of life for patients by helping them regain independence and improve their physical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent program from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida, maintained in good standing.
• One (1) year of experience working as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a rehabilitation or home healthcare setting.
• Current CPR certification and commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, and a strong ability to engage with patients and their families.
• Possess a patient-centered mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality therapeutic care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings.
• Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems for clinical documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Exposure to chronic pain management techniques and innovative rehabilitation modalities.

Compensation and Benefits

Perfect Ratio Therapy Services offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
