Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Secretary to support attorneys handling diverse litigation matters on-site in New Orleans . Responsibilities
- Provide Elite Support: Deliver comprehensive litigation support across various practice areas.
- Manage Schedules: Take charge of attorneys’ calendars, trial dates, and scheduling.
- Prepare Documents: Draft and format legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence with high accuracy.
- Coordinate Filings: File legal documents promptly with Louisiana state and federal courts.
- Track Deadlines: Monitor and manage critical legal deadlines to ensure total compliance.
- Communicate Professionally: Interact confidently and effectively with clients, counsel, and court personnel.
- Organize Case Files: Maintain meticulously organized electronic and physical records.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of litigation experience, ideally within a defense firm environment.
- Court Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Louisiana civil courts, electronic filing systems, and legal calendaring.
- Technical Mastery: Strong technical aptitude and excellent professional references.
- Efficiency: Proven ability to perform accurately and efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Demeanor: A highly polished, professional, and confidential demeanor.

- Education: Legal related degree program although those non degreed candidate with relevant experience are absolutely encouraged to apply.
