Senior Tax Accountant - Cool, Small Firm

We’re seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to take a lead role in our small public accounting firm. You’ll handle a diverse client portfolio, work closely with business owners and individuals, and enjoy the autonomy and impact that only a small practice can offer. Key Responsibilities Tax Preparation — Prepare and review individual, partnership, S‑corp, and small‑business returns. Public Accounting Engagements — Support year‑round client needs including estimated taxes, extensions, and basic financial statement work. Client Advisory — Provide proactive planning and serve as a trusted point of contact for clients. Compliance & Research — Ensure accurate filings and research tax issues as they arise. Workflow Management — Help coordinate deadlines and maintain smooth operations during busy season. Basic Accounting — Assist with bookkeeping and simple accounting tasks when needed.
