ABOUT OUR AGENCY

Before becoming a State Farm agent, I worked with State Farm in communications and public affairs, which helped shape my leadership style and commitment to serving both our customers and our community. I’m a graduate of Florida A&M University, where I earned my degree magna cum laude, and I’m proud that my family represents five generations at FAMU. I’m a Million Dollar Round Table qualifier and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. A fun fact about me: I once won The Price Is Right! I’m also honored to be the first and only African American woman to operate three State Farm offices. Giving back to the community is a big part of who we are. I’m actively involved as a Platinum member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a member of the Hallandale Chamber of Commerce, part of The Links, Inc. (Miami–Biscayne Bay Chapter), and serve on the Board of the Florida A&M Foundation. ROLE DESCRIPTION

As Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member for Lakitsia Gaines - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services. Grow your career as you better your community. RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage customer accounts and update information in the database. Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries. Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status. Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred. Bilingual Spanish preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr Kitsia Gaines
