Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care in a Long-Term Care facility. This role involves working with residents with various medical conditions, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Facility Overview

• Type of Facility: Long Term Care
• Capacity: 26 beds/residents
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Matrix

Patient Care

The facility primarily serves residents with the following common diagnoses:

• Heart Disease
• Diabetes
• Dementia

Job Duties

• Act as charge nurse
• Administer medications
• Perform wound care

Qualifications

• Current BLS Certification required
• Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) settings is a must

Clinical Environment

• No clinical involvement with IVs or titratable drips
• No telemonitoring; RN staff do not read strips
• Access to physical therapy (PT) as needed and a social worker designee for additional support
• No respiratory therapy services on-site
• Oxygen therapy equipment available, including concentrators and portable concentrators

Scheduling and Orientation

• Shifts: 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirements: Every other major holiday
• Unit-specific orientation: 2-3 shifts
• No blocked scheduling or self-scheduling

Position is located in a Long Term Care facility in City, State.

Additional Information

We have a cancellation policy that allows shifts to be canceled by the facility within specified limits during assignments. Candidates must adhere to our radius rule of 50 miles for applications.
