Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2412 $500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS Opportunity: RN - Stepdown Job Details: • 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Guaranteed 36 hours per week • 13-week contract • Float to all inpatient units as needed • Every other weekend required • Every other holiday rotation required • Low census hours eligible in hour increments as needed, typically in 4-hour increments • Work in a 44-bed intermediate cardiac stepdown unit with a fast-paced, high patient turnover environment • Patient ratio typically 1:4 • Care for post-op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, vascular, arrhythmia, CHF, post-procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, acute CP/MI, and med/surg overflow patients including detox, DKA, COPD exacerbation, respiratory failure, and Fem Pop Bypass • Must have 1 year of strong cardiac experience (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU) and 2 years of IMC/PCU/Tele experience • Experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips required • At least one prior travel assignment required • 1 year of recent EPIC charting experience required • Must be able to pass EKG test during first week of hire • Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, and ACLS (AHA or ARC) • Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred • Scrub color: Any color Facility: This facility is a full-service hospital offering comprehensive cardiac and medical services to the community.
