Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2232 $500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • 13-week contract with a guaranteed 36 hours per week • 12-hour day/PM shifts with the following shift times: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM, or 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM • Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required • May be required to float to other locations including Merrill, Antigo, Medford, and Stanley • Possibility of on-call requirements, asked in advance but would rarely occur • Trauma Level II experience required • Minimum 2 years of experience required • Prior travel experience preferred; if no prior travel experience, 2 years of Trauma Level I or II experience is required • EPIC charting experience required • Fast-paced 18-bed unit with 3-4 patients per nurse ratio • Responsibilities include drawing labs, performing nebulizer treatments, and working alongside respiratory therapy, X-ray staff, and in-house lab • Pyxis medication dispenser utilized on unit • Unit serves stroke, cardiac, neuro, pediatrics, geriatrics, and respiratory patients • Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (ARC or AHA) • Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred • Any color scrubs permitted Facility: This healthcare facility is home to a fast-paced, Trauma Level II emergency department featuring an 18-bed unit with stroke certification and comprehensive specialty services including cardiac, neurological, pediatric, geriatric, and respiratory care. The facility is well-equipped with in-house laboratory services, on-site X-ray staff, and respiratory therapy support, providing a dynamic and well-resourced environment for emergency care professionals.
