Assists Managing Director in development of sales plan and connects local sales efforts with national and regional sales plans. Directs sales solicitation activities of Team Manager personnel. Recruits, selects, orients, hires, coaches, counsels, disciplines, and evaluates the performance of service hub employees. Encourages and monitors compliance with continuing professional education of service center personnel. Insures personnel records of employees are maintained in accordance with corporate policies. Maintains product quality through compliance with service standards and client instructions. Completes file re-inspections and audits as requested. Monitors and improves efficiency of unit operations. Assists Managing Director in establishing business plan and budget for unit. Ensures timely closing and billing of files. Monitors both billed and unbilled inventory to meet business unit DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) objectives. Participates in industry organizations and functions and upholds image of corporation. Stays abreast of changes in industry. Upholds the Crawford Code of Business Conduct at all times. Participates in special projects or performs duties in other areas as requested. Qualifications College degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience delivering the services and/or supervising the delivery of services offered by the branch office; previous management experience required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively manage, supervise, and develop employees. Thorough knowledge of services being delivered by branch office. Personal computer skills. Good organizational and interpersonal skills. Position must be based in the same location as the AVP Managing Director. Annual minimum revenue threshold of 7.0 million. Appropriate compliment of management and staff. A willingness to relocate. Must have valid drivers license; maintenance of adjuster's license. Must complete continuing education requirements as outlined by Crawford Educational Services and jurisdiction of branch office. A variable schedule including on-call may be required. Depending on case load you may be required to work beyond normal business hours when necessary. Travel may be required during/outside of normal business hours when necessary. About Us Why Crawford?
