H&H Cantina is seeking an experienced Head Bartender to lead a small team in our lounge-style bar featuring DJs. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, works well with others, and can deliver excellent service in a fast-paced nightlife environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience leading and managing a small team of bartenders.

• Experience working in a lounge or club-style bar with DJs.

• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and bar service.

• Ability to maintain speed, consistency, and professionalism during busy shifts.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and guest-service skills.

• Dependability, punctuality, and a hands-on approach to teamwork.

• Availability to work evenings, late nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead the bar team and coordinate service during each shift.

• Work alongside bartenders and support the team during busy periods.

• Maintain drink quality, presentation, and consistent recipes.

• Oversee bar setup, cleanliness, restocking, and closing procedures.

• Help monitor inventory, control waste, and communicate ordering needs.

• Build relationships with guests and encourage repeat business.

• Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with house policies.

Compensation

• $21 per hour after successful completion of a 15-day paid trial period.

• Trial-period hourly rate will be communicated before starting.

• Monthly bonus opportunities based on sales performance and/or personally referred guests. Referrals must be verified through an agreed tracking method, such as named reservations or a guest list. Bonus criteria will be discussed during the interview.
