Technical Sales Representative

As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a Regional Sales Engineer to drive our sales strategy in the Michigan market. Key Responsibilities Maintain positive and productive relationships with decision makers and influencers within the assigned territory Develop new accounts by selling direct to end-users Build professional business partnerships with existing client base Provide value-added products and services to new and current customers Drive sales growth in assigned territory by developing and executing geographically targeted campaigns Collaborate with architects, engineers and electrical contractors to craft winning solutions for customers Contribute to the sales team effort by sharing intelligence, attending meetings and help foster a positive team attitude Plan and organize personal sales strategy to maximize your time within assigned territory Create accurate and effective proposals using the companies quoting system Maintain up to date sales forecast within the CRM on a weekly basis Document and record all sales calls, customer meetings and intelligence gathered in the field within the CRM on a daily basis Desired Skills and Background Knowledge of the construction industry sales process 1-3 years of technical sales experience Knowledge of fire code and system design Ability to read and understand architectural drawings Experience with selling service-based solutions to institutional and commercial customers Background in fire and security technical product sales Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to quickly build rapport with key-decision makers in customer accounts Excellent time management capabilities Competitive Base Salary + Commission Company vehicle and gas card 401(k) with company match Join the NATSCO Team!
