About Us:
We are a busy, patient-focused podiatry practice with two providers dedicated to delivering high-quality foot and ankle care. Our office values professionalism, teamwork, and compassionate patient service. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Medical Assistant to join our team.

Must have availability for our hours.

Hours include:

Monday 9-7

Tuesday and Thursday 8-5

Wednesdays 8-6

Fridays 8-4 (occasional)

Position Summary:
The Medical Assistant will support both providers in clinical and administrative duties to ensure efficient office operations and excellent patient care. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Room patients and obtain medical histories and chief complaints
• Assist providers with examinations and in-office procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Perform basic clinical tasks such as dressing changes and cast removal
• Manage patient flow and ensure timely appointments
• Handle electronic medical records (EMR) documentation accurately
• Assist with scheduling, phone calls, and front desk support as needed
• Verify insurance and obtain prior authorizations when required
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant (podiatry or specialty practice preferred) is preferred but not required
• Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred but not required
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
• Experience with EMR systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a small team and support multiple providers
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and patient-focused
