Area Manager - Floor (Fashion, Import, Jewelry, Regional, Returns, Sam's, HMSC)

Position Summary Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing, manage staffing and scheduling, assign duties, and coordinate workloads to achieve facility goals such as production, quality, and safety. Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports. Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies, monitoring compliance, and providing documentation. Identify associate, customer, and supplier concerns, consult with others as needed, determine corrective action, and recommend solutions. Supervise and develop associates and leaders through duty assignment, workload coordination, performance monitoring, feedback, training needs identification, hiring, promotion, coaching, and evaluation. Build high‑performing, inclusive teams that support belonging, respect differences, and foster a collaborative culture. Act with integrity, uphold Walmart values, promote ethical standards, and support the company's regenerative goals. Serve customers and members by delivering results, applying business models, and making data‑driven decisions that balance short and long‑term priorities. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year supervisory experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field or 1 year Walmart Logistics Management experience or 2 years Walmart Logistics experience or 2 years supervisory experience Must attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings). Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Office proficiency Experience supervising associates Walmart Logistics Manager experience Bachelor’s in Business or Logistics Salary and Compensation The annual salary range for this position is $65,500.00 – $98,000.00. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses, Regional Pay Zone adjustments, and stock options.
