Responsibilities
- Provide unit-based leadership for OR nursing and ancillary staff in collaboration with the Nurse Manager and Director.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing and support personnel using professional and supervisory discretion.
- Ensure delivery of cost-effective, professional perioperative care that supports positive outcomes, high patient satisfaction, and patient safety.
- Assess and implement steps to improve quality of the patient experience within the OR team.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and the interprofessional team to optimize OR efficiency, throughput, and patient flow.
- Maintain compliance with policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements
- Extensive operating room nursing experience
- Leadership or nurse-leader experience in an OR setting
- Ability to supervise nursing and ancillary staff and manage unit resources
- Strong collaboration with physicians and department leadership
- Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and patient experience
- Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
